Q: If my patients call with billing questions, will they get voicemail or a real person?

Our office staff answers the phone from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. EST.  During these hours your patients receive helpful, knowledgeable answers and not voicemail nor an automated answering system.

Q: Do you monitor my insurance contracts?

When you choose PBN to handle your medical billing and claims processing, your reimbursements are audited each quarter.  You must provide us with your contracted rates, and we can assist you in that process.

Q: How will you help me with coding?

Each day, all claims are edited by PBN’s experienced professionals and the claim scrubber, then filed electronically with over 500 insurance companies, as well as Medicare and Medicaid.

Q: Is "collection" included in your services?

Timely follow-up is done on every claim, offering payment plans if necessary.  Three statements are sent and a personal call is always made before a collection agency is recommended.

Q: Do you ever write off without the physician's approval?

“Write-offs” only occur if noted as “contractual adjustments.”  In working with the staff, we obtain the practice approval for other write offs.

Q: Can you guarantee more money will come in?
